Return to HeArt is a collection of artwork by founding artist, Jill Sans, and partnering artist’s, Rebekah Nordstrom and Tamara Hastie. This is an exhibition of re-opening, a return back to The HeArt Box after temporary closures of the space due to Covid-19. A return to HeArt, sharing of art, conversations and community. On display June 5th - June 27th, 2020.

The Collection of artwork features Heart of Giants by Jill Sans, mixed media on canvas. This piece encourages us to grow our hearts bigger, to be that of giants. A portion of the sale from this piece will be donated to Black Lives Matter and locally here in Flagstaff to Kinlani Mutual Aid.

Tamara Hastie adorns the wall with a collection of her landscapes painted here in Northern Arizona and throughout the southwest. She uses color and texture in a very energetic way creating a contemporary table to landscape artwork. Each piece is framed, frames she builds herself.

Rebekah Nordstrom showcases two series she has completed. Rebekah is a plain air painter and paints on location. Last year she completed a series of paintings of trees throughout Northern Arizona and Eastern Arizona. She also has a set of picturesque paintings of Minnesota, her home state. These were created last summer while visiting. A portion of the Minnesota series will be donated to the Million Artist Movement and here locally to Kinlani Mutual Aid.

All pieces from A Return to HeArt are available to view and purchase here on our site. We can ship and offer local Flagstaff delivery to your doorstep. You can also pick-up artwork either come by and shop in the gallery or pre-purchase and drive up through the alley and we will bring it out to you.
